I like to describe the people of Glade United Church of Christ as friendly, caring, welcoming and generous. We offer an extravagant welcome to all people…regardless, just as they are, without regard to age, race, gender, lifestyle, or sexual orientation. But we are much more than that. We are a people with a mission. Whether it is in Honduras where we work to build new houses with the poor; or in leading this community in a Habitat for Humanity House build; or at the Frederick Soup Kitchen; or in a wonderfully varied music program; or in our highly relevant and contemporary classes for adults and children; or in our ministries with children and youth; we are committed to being a people with a vision that is transforming our lives.
